M-Cubed Competition Unites Middle and Upper School Math

Designed by members of the champion Upper School Math Team, the competition M-Cubed grouped Middle Schoolers into different levels for a friendly contest to solve complex problems. The problems are designed to challenge sixth- through eighth-graders, who are placed according to their experience and ability so that teams are balanced. Dozens of Middle School students opted to compete in the spring M-Cubed showdown, and organizers hope to expand the competition beyond Milton Academy.
